Are you running from a previous faith community or toward a specific faith tradition?
What do you know about the Old Catholic Faith?
Please join us on Saturday, August 24th, from 9:00 to noon at Spirit of Hope Contemporary Catholic Community for an engaging workshop that may deepen your understanding of the Old Catholic Faith and help you take a stand on your specific beliefs.
This workshop will provide concrete comparisons between our faith traditions and others that are closely linked like the Roman Catholic Faith and the Episcopal Faith. The session will also offer insights regarding the larger structure of our faith tradition and its efforts to remain relevant today, as well as outline the next steps for Spirit of Hope and our Holy Cross Diocese as Rev. Marty moves into retirement. Your questions are welcome! Through presentation, small group discussions, and engaging activities, we will work to support each member in clarifying their personal belief statements regarding their relationship with this community.
We will gather at 9:00 am in the sanctuary of Spirit of Hope Church located at 680 MN-62, Mendota Heights, MN 55118. Please come with an open mind, an open heart, lots of questions, and a desire to engage in discussion and learning.
Lunch will be served, and we will end the workshop at 12:00 noon.
The workshop is free of charge, but priceless in information and please feel free to invite any and all friends who might be interested in the topic. To register, please contact Ingrid Mattsson through the Contact Us form on our website: www.spiritofhopemn.org
We look forward to seeing you there!
